BOARD MEETING
July 11, 2006

The meeting was called to order by the President, Robert
Burridge at 5:31 pm PST in an online chat session.
Those present were Kate and Bob Burridge, Marie Cunningham, Linda
Gunn,Barbara Leites, Evelyn Peters and Sandra Woods.
The reading of the previous minutes was set aside to be read at the Annual
Meeting.
THE TREASURER’S REPORT was moved to the end of the agenda.
THE PRESIDENT’S REPORT
The President reported the resignations of three Board Members,
He then appointed a replacement for Exhibitions – Kate Burridge
A motion by Evelyn Peters to accept the resignations and the replacement
was made and it was seconded by Sandy Woods.
The motion carried.A discussion followed on the Open Board Positions to be
filled and the fact that we have no membership director. It was agreed
that in the interim membership dues checks would go directly to the
Treasurer. The update of the Membership list would pass to the past
Membership Director temporarily if she would accept the job. It was agreed
for Bob and Linda to meet to discuss Board nominees.
Tom Cardamone’s name was mentioned for Membership Director.

Marketing
NEW BUSINESS
A discussion ensued regarding hiring an Executive Director. Jill
Steadman’sname was mentioned and a salary proposed of $250 a month on a
Contract basis. It was also suggested that she be contacted regarding a
job description for the position based on her experience.
OLD BUSINESS
Regarding the website Sandy mentioned that a disclaimer and a policy
statement was still needed. Kate agreed to send the material to Sandy.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The current bank balance after all expenses is $17,011.17
ACTION ITEMS
Following is a review of items to be pursued.
• Bob is to contact Jill Stedham
• Evelyn is to work with Barbara on a cash accounting system
• Bob and Linda are to discuss Board Member Nominations
• Kate is to send required info to Sandy for the website
